When David returns to Rome, he is forced to confront his father, a man he has spent years trying to understand. They spend days together in a room, circling their relationship and the question of whether David can still love a father who may have lost his way. Waiting for him in London is the dream he has been chasing, even as it begins to fall apart. David has to decide whether to keep running toward a life that may never come, or turn back toward the family he thought he had left behind.
A non chronological collection of moments from a young man's life. Romani markets, old churches, umbrella sellers, gritty streets, lovers and lonely nights drift in and out of memory. At the center is a kid trying to make something of his life while carrying things he doesn't know how to put down. A love story runs through it all, as he searches for beauty, connection and some way forward.
